About the Design:
The Indian Head cent, also known as an Indian Head penny, was a one-cent coin ($0.01) produced by the United States Bureau of the Mint. The coin is coated with Black Ruthenium, which is a type of platinum metal that looks like a dark platinum, but is 100 times Rarer.
From 1859 to 1909 the U.S. Mint issued cent penny coins with the Liberty with Head Dress obverse and the Oak Wreath with Shield reverse. Now this cent penny coin is available for the first time in a stunning Black Ruthenium 24K gold-layered edition.
